Hype Williams is an American music video and film director from Queens, New York.
Williams is notable for creating a number of groundbreaking and successful music videos for Hip Hop and R&B acts like Biggie - Warning, Nas ft. Lauryn Hill - If I ruled the world and Jay Z - Big Pimpin to name a few.
In 1998, he directed his first feature film, Belly, One of my personal favorites.
